About ME
My name is Billy Moffat and I spent 20 years touring as bassist with One Night of Queen (2002–2022).
I’ve played over 2,500 live shows in theatres, arenas, amphitheatres and festivals across 20+ countries.
Originally from Scotland, I'm now based in Florida with my American wife and our wee boy, and I'm excited for this next chapter.
While most of my career was spent on stage, two decades of international touring also gave me firsthand experience working alongside some of the best stage managers, venue crews, promoters, and touring personnel.
I'm currently seeking opportunities both on and off the stage, including touring bassist roles, artist support, assistant stage management, or backstage operations. I understand what’s required to keep a show running smoothly and I'm happy to jump in wherever’s needed.
Aside from touring, I've always loved writing music. My work ranges from rock and metal to cinematic and theatrical. (Scroll down to hear some of what I do.)
